Hamstrings - Seated Leg Contractions


Hamstring contractions:

Place abster at bottom position on door; place open-legged chair three feet facing door
Sit in chair with legs fully extended hooking feet in between handles with top handle just above bridge
Slowly contract legs to 90 degree bent position squeezing back of legs and abdominals.

Extend out legs back to first position:
2 sets of 15 reps – beginner
3 sets of 20 reps – intermediate
4 sets of 25 reps – advanced
